Francesco started his professional career in 1994 at the Brussels office of the law firm De Berti & Jacchia. He subsequently worked with the firms Simmons & Simmons and Lombardi Molinari, where he held the position of junior partner. From 2007 to 2019, he was “of counsel” at Bird & Bird law firm. He was legal counsel for a leading Italian venture capital fund and visiting lawyer for 3i Group plc. From 2020 to 2023 he was partner at hi.lex law firm. Starting from 2024 he is partner at Alpeggiani Avvocati Associati (A3Lex).

He focuses on corporate law, primarly on M&A and extraordinary transactions in general. He has gained significant experience in venture capital and private equity transactions, both domestically and internationally. He has served on the boards of directors of several companies. He regularly gives lectures and seminars on venture capital and corporate law.
