Marco started his activity with Pavia e Ansaldo in Milan and New York offices starting from 1997, and then as from 2005 becoming Partner of top ranked independent Italian law firm. From January 2024 Marco is a partner at Alpeggiani Avvocai Associati (A3lex). He is member of the board of directors of the Milan Rotary Foundation for Milan and of Tax6legal Committee at AIFI (Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association).
Marco focuses on M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Structured Finance transaction (mainly in acquisition, corporate and real estate financing), as well as extraordinary corporate transactions (as merger, demerger, sale of going-concern or assets), having an extensive experience both on equity and debt, assisting institutional investors, family offices and entrepreneurs, with a pragmatic problem-solving approach. Co-author of “Finanza d’impresa al bivio” by Luca Baseggio: “Leverage buy-out e riforma del diritto societario: prime analisi e riflessioni” (i.e., LBO and reform of corporate law: first analysis and considerations) by Maurizio Bernardi and Marco Carbonara, as well as speaker in conferences and seminars. In last years he has always been referred by primary foreign legal directories as an experienced lawyer in his practices.
Education
Graduated magna cum laude at Bari State University of Law in 1992. Admitted to practice in 1995, he is a member of the Milan Bar since 1996. He served as Officer of the Italian Tax Police (Guardia di Finanza).
